Relief from Recurring Yeast Infections

My name is Janet Trace, and I want to share with you the story of my 20 year journey to find an all natural cure for a chronic health condition which plagued me mercilessly. It’s a condition you’re probably familiar with, and have fought at least once.

I’m talking about the very personal topic of recurring yeast infections. Before I go any further, I should state that women are not the only individuals who are susceptible to yeast infections. In fact, male yeast infections are more common than most people would tend to think. Men may suffer from external yeast infections, which are very irritating to the skin.

Along my 20 year search for an all natural cure for Candida Vaginitis, the clinical name for vaginal yeast infections, I learned to ask lots of questions. I became a research maniac, and read any and all books that were even remotely related to women’s health issues, particularly relating to vaginal health.

Here is the absolute best I could find in treating yeast infection.

You see, I figured that this condition was sort of like a chain, which had separate links that made up the whole. The yeast infection was the chain, and I was determined to seek out every link in that chain in order to break it apart!

I can’t tell you how tired I was of the constant irritability which came with this condition, not to mention how it affected me on a daily basis. I had an itchy vagina, a spacey head, was always exhausted, and sometimes felt dizzy for no reason. There were times where I had worn myself out so badly with the tasks of everyday life that I would have narcoleptic bouts. I struggled just to make it through the day.

As you can see, my life was being ruined by this horrid condition!

During this time, I suffered many of the Candida albicans symptoms:

• Burning and general irritation of the vagina
• itching and burning of the external genitalia
• painful discomfort after sexual intercourse
• burning feeling upon urination
• vaginal odor
• itching inside the vagina
• painful intercourse
• vulva redness and swelling (vulvitis)
• vaginal discharge – clumpy white to grayish in color

My search for relief was a tiresome journey which led me to (and away from) many doctors. I visited both mainstream medical doctors and holistic healers searching for the answer to my problem. I tried several different treatments, and there were more dietary changes than you can imagine.

I tried different foods, and omitted others in an attempt to find out if I was causing this condition myself. Some of the dietary changes I subjected myself to were almost unbearable, and bordered on being cruel.

Can you even imagine having to experience years of Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners trying to tactfully sift through what you could and couldn’t eat? I love a good food and family get together, and having to deny myself of some of my favorite holiday dishes was really disheartening.

My research led me to discover there were several external triggers which could bring on an onset of a yeast infection. These triggers varied widely, and some were not agreed upon by many of the so called medical experts.

One of the more amazing facts I uncovered was that one of the treatments recommended for yeast infections could actually cause them. You may have already guessed I’m talking about an acidophilus yeast infection. Acidophilus is the one of the key bacteria in yogurt which works to regulate the yeast fungus and keep it in check. I had no idea it could actually cause the very problem I was fighting so hard to cure!

A few of the other yeast infection triggers I uncovered included:

• Smoking
• Stressful situations
• Bath soaps and perfumed body wash
• Diet high in sugar
• Restrictive clothing

With all of the information I had collected, which incidentally made it look like the odds were stacked against me, I was beginning to wonder if I’d ever find relief from the symptoms of Candida.

Even though things were looking bleak for me, I just couldn’t give up hope. My family needed me to be well, and I wanted to live a life free of a recurring yeast infection.

Finally, my research led me to the answer I had been longing for, and I want to share it with you.
